The Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) programme at Sandford International School supports the school’s vision of becoming the best school in East Africa and developing influential leaders who improve the life chances of others across the region. Through a broad and purposeful programme of activities, ECAs extend learning beyond the classroom and help students develop into happy, well-rounded individuals prepared for future academic and personal success.
In line with Sandford’s mission to provide high-quality, evidence-based learning that enables students to achieve the best IG and IB results in the region, the ECA programme plays an important role in supporting the holistic development of our students. Activities are designed to reinforce the school’s values of knowledge, caring and resilience, while also providing meaningful opportunities for students to develop the attributes of the IB Learner Profile.
Through a range of clubs and activities, students are able to apply their learning in real-world contexts and develop important personal qualities.
